Meet the Doctors

Dr. Emilee Nehring OD
Dr. Emilee Nehring received her Doctorate of Optometry from MCPHS University, College of Optometry in 2017. Dr. Emilee will be specializing in pediatric care, however she has completed training in post and pre operative care of refractive surgery and cataract surgery, ocular disease and contact lenses.
Dr. Nehring grew up in Woodburn, Oregon. She graduated from Canby High School in 2007, and then went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Pre Med from Oregon Institute of Technology. Dr. Nehring has traveled to Bolivia, Nicaragua and Mexico on vision mission trips and is continually improving her Spanish speaking skills.

Dr. Dustin King OD
Dr. King grew up in Wichita, Kansas. He played baseball and basketball before getting a scholarship to play baseball at Hesston college (now Hannibal-LaGrange University). He is a sports fanatic and enjoys watching and talking about all kinds of sports.
He received his doctorate in optometry from MCPHS in 2020. His special interests include dry-eye, glaucoma, urgent eye exams, diabetic eye exams and contact lenses.

Dr. Yelena Galuza OD
Dr. Yelena Galuza received her Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University in 2015. She completed training in refractive surgery, pediatrics, and ocular disease.
Dr. Galuza emigrated from Ukraine when she was 6 years old. Her family settled in south east Portland. She graduated from David Douglas High School in 2007, and then went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Bio-chemistry from the University of Portland. She speaks fluent Russian, Ukrainian, and some Spanish.

Dr. Kelsey Evans OD
Dr. Kelsey Evans grew up in Eugene and happily returned to Oregon to begin her optometric career after graduation. She attended University of Houston College of Optometry where she graduated with her Doctorate of Optometry.
Dr. Evans is passionate about providing eye care and developing relationships within the community. In her free time, Dr. Evans treasures time with her family: her husband, daughter and playful corgi, Penny.
